Bin Collections

HDNC supports West Sussex County Council and Horsham District Council in the drive to reduce the amount of waste going into landfill. As a local resident, you will be well aware of the changes to what will be taken away from the kerbside and when in terms of refuse collection. The scheme to drive more recycling is working with Horsham now well above the regular recycling target of 50% set at the beginning of this initiative. We sometimes hit as much as 60% of our possible recyclables, which is excellent…but more can still be done.

If you are unsure about your weekly refuse and recycling collection days, then click here. You just need to enter your postcode for a personalised collection calendar.

Reporting Issues To The Council

If you need to report an issue to Horsham District Council to do with:

  • waste
  • recycling and bins
  • street cleaning and litter
  • environmental health
  • planning and building regulations, or
  • drains and sewers

you can do so here.
